Shakespeare Marine has relocated and expanded its Chinese distribution centre.
The announcement follows growth of 20% in 2024 for Shakespeare Marine in the region making it the most successful year in the region to date and the brand’s biggest growth region globally.
Previously located in Shanghai, the distribution hub for the region has relocated to Weihai. The new facility will allow Shakespeare to further support sales in its Asia and Australasia markets due to its larger square footage, enabling better access to more variety and quantities, as well as improved delivery and logistics.
Stock will include the best-selling product lines, from VHF, AIS, HDTV marine antennas and the brand’s QuickConnect range, to heavy-duty stainless-steel mounts. Shakespeare Marine’s 5912-DORSAL VHF antenna, V-Tronix Fibreglass VHF antenna and the Classic AIS antenna.
Incredible year
“This year has been incredible for Asia and is an area we’ve focused on growing via onboarding new distributors,” said Dave Manasseh, international sales manager for Shakespeare Marine.
“Following a year of significant company growth and an ever-increasing global presence, the new warehouse will enable us to meet the demands of our customers at a much greater rate and widen our offering.”
Shakespeare has recently received a record order for HF and VHF antennas to be sold directly into Asia, including new territories for Shakespeare.
“The latest order in Asia is a testament to the quality and reliability of our products and further highlights our brand as a prestigious player in the Asian market,” added Dave.
