Andrea Frabetti has returned to Ferretti Group in a consulting role alongside chief executive Stassi Anastassov, with a focus on innovation, products, technologies and long-term product strategy.
The appointment does not give Frabetti direct responsibility for the group’s operating structures.
Instead, he will support the chief executive on medium- to long-term priorities, including market development, new business opportunities, product direction, ownership models, services and partnerships. His focus will be on innovation, products, technologies and product strategies.
International experience
Frabetti began his marine career at Ferretti Group after graduating in naval and mechanical engineering from the University of Genoa.
He spent almost 25 years at the company, where he led Ferretti Engineering, the technology division responsible for developing motor yachts across the group’s brands.
His new role follows international experience including senior positions at Bavaria Yachts, Diesel Center and Sunseeker International, where he became chief executive in 2019 and served until November 2025.
The appointment is intended to combine Ferretti’s industrial heritage with greater foresight, faster decision-making and a wider openness to new business, product and service opportunities as technology, customer expectations and luxury-yacht ownership continue to evolve.
Frabetti has also had a wider involvement in the international marine industry having served as a member of the judging panel for the Metstrade DAME Awards and the show’s Boat Builder Awards.
