British manufacturer of the CXO300 diesel outboard, Cox Marine, has appointed UK based E.P. Barrus to its distributor network.
“We are thrilled to welcome Barrus to the Cox Marine family,” said Gemma Crocker, network and commercial operations director at Cox Marine. “Partnering with a UK-based distributor with such an impressive pedigree both demonstrates the mutual confidence in the demand for our product and highlights our commitment to providing outstanding service to our customers in our home market.”
Barrus’s head of marine, Ben Allen, added: “We are excited to represent Cox Marine and add their revolutionary outboard to our premium product portfolio.
“Our dedicated specialist teams are delighted that we are now able to offer an alternative outboard that meets the growing demand for a safe, efficient and reliable propulsion solution.”
Cox Marine’s outboard engines are designed for performance, efficiency, and robustness. The high-powered engines are suitable for commercial and recreational use.
The engine has achieved EPA Tier 3, RCD II, IMO II and BSO II. The appointment is the latest in line of distributor appointments including Texas Diesel Outboard (TDO) which renewed its contract for the next five years in 2023, covering nine states in the United States and Marine Service Asia (MSA) for the Hong Kong territory.
