IBEX 2026 will introduce a series of pavilions, specialty areas and trade routes designed to help recreational marine professionals navigate the show more efficiently.
The International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference will take place at the Tampa Convention Center and waterfront, with curated areas covering propulsion, electronics, composites, global market access, safety and standards, start-ups, workforce development and on-water demonstrations.
The six main pavilions are Next-Gen Power & Performance, International, Compliance, Standards & Education, Electronics, Composites and Start-Up. The International Pavilion has been developed with Metstrade, while the Electronics Pavilion is sponsored by NMEA and the Start-Up Pavilion is presented with Yachting Ventures.
Focused areas
Specialty areas will include a waterfront Main Stage and IBEX Lounge, the IBEX Docks for live on-water demonstrations, the Emerging Marine Leaders Lounge and Innovation Way, which will display the 2026 Innovation Awards entries. Winners will be announced during the Industry Breakfast on Tuesday 6 October.
IBEX show director Mary Velline said the focused areas would help attendees turn the scale of the event into ‘a more intentional experience’, whether comparing propulsion technologies, reviewing standards, meeting international partners or seeing systems perform on the water.
Trade Routes will provide additional curated paths across the show floor, including Marina & Yard, Sustainable Technology, Electronics and Career Day routes.
IBEX 2026 takes place from 6 – 8 October.
