IGY Marinas has appointed Wayne Whitby as shipyard services director, based at IGY Sète Marina.
Wayne brings more than three decades of experience in the superyacht and maritime industries, having built a career spanning marine engineering, yacht refits, technical management, project oversight, and commercial leadership.
Most recently, he served as technical sales director and technical director at ESAOM CESA Shipyard in Italy, where he led technical and commercial operations supporting yacht owners, captains, engineers, and industry stakeholders.
His experience spans service as a chief engineer, seven years managing refit engineering projects ashore, four years in technical management roles, and experience bridging technical and commercial disciplines within leading Mediterranean shipyards.
In his new role with IGY Marinas, Wayne will lead the development and expansion of shipyard service offerings across IGY Marinas.
