GOST makes personnel promotions including new ops manager

GOST (Global Ocean Security Technologies) has promoted three key personnel.

Danny Ashmore has been promoted to the role of operations manager to oversee daily operations, sales and technical support, purchasing, RMA processing and overall customer service.

Prior to joining GOST in 2010, Ashmore worked with Ares Marine Custom Yachts performing electrical installations on custom yachts.

Before that, he served as a service technician with Servowatch, where he installed and commissioned alarm, monitoring, and security systems aboard vessels throughout the US and Caribbean.

“Over the past 15 years, Danny has proven himself as one of the most knowledgeable and trusted members of our company,” said Brian Kane, president and CEO of GOST.

“His technical expertise, operational leadership, and commitment to customer satisfaction make him uniquely qualified to oversee these critical areas of our business.”

Deployment to customers and dealers

GOST has also added to the responsibilities of Joshua Gorman, who joined the company in 2025.

In his new technical operations role, Gorman is responsible for product assembly, programming, shipping, and technical preparation of GOST systems before deployment to customers and dealers.

Prior to joining GOST, Gorman worked as a technician for NCH Marine in Fort Lauderdale, where he installed hydraulic stabilisers, bow and stern thrusters, and vessel steering systems.

He also gained electronics experience at Dockmate, where he assembled and programmed advanced remote-control docking systems.

“Joshua has quickly become a valuable contributor to our operations team,” said Kane.

“His hands-on experience, can-do attitude, and technical aptitude help ensure that each and every GOST product meets our quality standards before reaching customers.”

Marketing initiatives

In addition, Rebecca Lancashire has taken on new responsibilities and will now oversee all of GOST activations of tracking, video, and security systems in addition to managing the company’s marketing initiatives.

“Rebecca has played a crucial part in elevating our marketing efforts over the last year, and her attitude in taking on the crucial task of activating our systems is taking GOST to new heights,” said Kane.

“Her creativity, organisation skills, and industry knowledge will help us keep a better pulse on our customer needs while continuing building strong relationships throughout the marine industry.”
