ExploMar, manufacturer of high-performance electric propulsion systems, has partnered with Lamdo Yachts, a Polish manufacturer specialising in luxury trawler motor yachts.
Under the partnership, ExploMar’s WAVE 300 outboard propulsion system has been used to power Lamdo Yachts’ eLY30+ electric luxury yacht which made its debut at the 2026 POLBOAT Yachting Festival and received the Gdynia POLBOAT Awards 2026 ‘Special Boats’ category award.
The eLY30+ yacht, designed by Tony Castro Yacht Design and built by Lamdo Yachts, supports propulsion configurations ranging from ExploMar’s WAVE 70+ to the WAVE 300 electric outboards.
The eLY30+ equipped with the ExploMar WAVE 70+ completed real-world trials in Poland’s Mazury Lake District.
Real-world testing
In terms of noise performance, the WAVE 70+ system maintained cabin noise levels below 60dB at maximum RPM and below 50dB during cruising conditions.
Based on range evaluations, the eLY30+ achieved nearly 17 hours of continuous operation at approximately 5km/h and around 10 hours of navigation at approximately 8km/h.
The vessel was tested on the 36km route from Giżycko to Mikołajki and consumed around 24kWh of energy per voyage.
