Lewmar extends ABA partnership

Lewmar has extended its partnership for a further three years with the American Boatbuilders Association (ABA), as preferred supplier for windlass anchoring systems and bow thrusters.

The American Boatbuilders Association (ABA) harnesses purchasing power through collective action, bringing together 26 independent US boat manufacturers.

“I am pleased that ABA has extended our agreement with Lewmar as a Preferred Supplier of Choice for windlasses, rodes, anchors, bow thrusters and bow rollers,” said Jay Patton, ABA president.

“ABA members chose to partner with Lewmar because of their product quality, excellent technical support and customer service. ABA and Lewmar have enjoyed a valuable relationship for over 23 years, and we look forward to the future.”

Lewmar’s range of windlass anchoring systems cater to vessels from 20ft to 200ft.

The company, part of the Lippert group, has an 80,000sqft warehouse and distribution facility, providing delivery to North American marine market customers.

“Cementing our partnership with the American Boatbuilders Association highlights Lewmar’s steadfast dedication to delivering cutting-edge marine solutions,” stated Matt Johnston, Marine Group Europe president.

“As the preferred supplier for windlass anchoring systems and bow thrusters, chosen by over 95% of the OEMs in the ABA buying group, we pride ourselves on offering technologically advanced products that set new industry standards in safety and reliability.”
