Sustainable boating show to debut in 2026

Nice Boating Tomorrow, a new sustainable boating show, will debut in March 2026.

Organised by Grand Pavois Organisation, the four day trade show was previously announced to take place from October 30 2025.

A partnership agreement has been signed between Grand Pavois Organisation (organiser of the Grand Pavois La Rochelle since 1973) and Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur for the show.

The show will now take place from March 19 to March 22 2026, held on Quai Amiral Infernet and inside the Conference Center at the Port of Nice.

The event has been designed to address the challenges of environmental transition and show solutions to reduce the boating industry’s environmental impact.

Alongside boats and products there will be an international forum, meetings, panel discussions, sea trials, demonstrations, and awareness-raising initiatives aimed at both professionals and the general public.

“Following the momentum of the United Nations Ocean Conference and recent events held at Nice’s new Conference Center, the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, the Nice Côte d’Azur Tourist Office, and Grand Pavois Organisation are proud to announce the inaugural edition of Nice Boating Tomorrow, a boat show dedicated to the future of boating,” said the organisers in a statement.

Ecological footprint

“It is worth remembering that, like many other industries, the environmental transition is now a top priority in the boating sector.

“In France and globally, the nautical industry is committing to reducing its ecological footprint.”

Grand Pavois Organisation points out that the transition spans the entire life cycle of pleasure boats—from design, construction, and end-of-life dismantling to their use and maintenance.

In addition to the boatbuilder and supply chain, ports and harbours must also adapt to meet the transition.

“Boating plays a vital role in the economies of France’s coastal regions—particularly in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region—and must lead the way in driving environmental progress,” continued Grand Pavois Organisation.

The French boating industry consists of more than 5,000 companies and is responsible for 150,000 direct and indirect jobs.
