Marine AI safety systems developer LOOKOUT has has partnered with SŌLACE Boats to offer its situational awareness on the new SŌLACE 37 PILOT.
LOOKOUT’s AI-powered navigation system will be standard on all new 2025 37 PILOT builds.
The LOOKOUT synthesizes data from charts, AIS, computer vision and the cloud, and fuses it into a 3D augmented reality view of the channel ahead.
The 37 PILOT is the first SŌLACE to include a LOOKOUT AI camera.
The system automatically identifies and tracks hazards such as buoys, debris, logs and other vessels, highlighting hazards on the camera’s forward-facing view using an intuitive augmented reality display.
The system integrates with a range of marine electronics brands including Garmin, Simrad and Raymarine.
“The new SŌLACE 37 PILOT is an innovative vessel designed from the ground up to provide boaters with a comfortable and enjoyable time on the water, regardless of the conditions,” said David Rose, CEO of LOOKOUT.
