Sialia Yachts has appointed Milvio Ricci as the new chief commercial officer of Sialia Yachts and its parent company, Silent Straits.
Milvio Ricci brings a strong academic background with a degree in Electronic Engineering and an MBA from the University of Birmingham and SDA Bocconi, where he served as president of the Bocconi Sailing Club.
This role marked his entry into the yachting industry, leading him to join one of the world’s largest yachting groups as business development manager.
While holding this role, Milvio oversaw market expansion and led key acquisitions, including that of the American dealer Allied Marine Group.
In 2009, he took on roles as brand manager and digital communication group manager before taking on the position of country manager/sales director at Trend Group.
In 2012, Milvio joined Cerved Credit Management Group, where he established a department specialising in the recovery and sale of leasing assets.
In recent years, he has founded and managed several startups, primarily within luxury markets (yachting), services, and finance.
In his role as chief commercial officer of Sialia Yachts, he will be responsible for organising the group, managing the brand portfolio, and overseeing all processes, including sales, to strengthen the company’s market position.
“I am very pleased to join such an innovative shipyard,” said Milvio. “Our goal is to redefine the world of emission-free yachting, as we have already demonstrated with the Sialia 57 Deep Silence, which recently achieved great success at its American debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.”
