The EBS-Electric Boat Show is to take place from a new, larger location in 2024.
2024 will be the third edition of the show which will take place at Laveno Mombello, Lake Maggiore, Italy, from 7 to 9 June 2024.
The new setting is intended to allow the Show to continue growing, involving more locations in the city, with boats in the Old Harbour, and a conference programme taking place in the Officine dell’Acqua.
The show is organised by Paeda & Associati and is dedicated to all professionals in the nautical sector particularly those involved in the electric revolution.
It will incorporate mobility on water with electric mobility on land, to all-round sustainability in port areas.
Concept of electric vehicles
“Vehicles on two and four wheels are already part of the everyday life in the microcosm of ports, and it is therefore essential to extend the concept of electric vehicles to land as well,” said a show spokesperson.
The events and conference programme is aimed not only at professionals in the sector, but also at institutions, associations and private and public bodies, enthusiasts, and private boat owners who will also be able to evaluate new engine alternatives with test drives available on a number of the boats.
The show will include boats and other water vehicles such as water motorbikes and bicycles, surfboards, paddle boats and pedal boats, together with electric, hybrid, solar and hydrogen marine propulsion systems.
The event is supported by the Municipality of Laveno Mombello, which will also host the hang-gliding world championships qualifiers from 1 to 9 June, allowing water, land and air to converge on the lake under the banner of green mobility.
