Bryton Marine Group has appointed James Irwin as president/COO of Alumacraft boats, effective May 1 2025.
This announcement is part of Bryton Marine Group’s acquisition of Alumacraft from BRP. The expected closing date for the transaction with BRP is April 30 2025.
James previously worked for Alumacraft for 24 years where he held various senior leadership positions and led the company as president for around ten years.

Bryton’s agreement with BRP to acquire the Alumacraft assets in St. Peter, Minnesota, follows the Group’s decision to expand its North American boat building brand footprint, supporting its growth and long-term objective to build the most desired aluminum boats worldwide.
