The Australian Superyacht Conference will return to Sydney on 1–2 March 2027 with a two-day programme, extending the format following its sold-out inaugural event in February 2026.
Organised by Superyacht Australia, the conference will again take place at REVY, Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf in Pyrmont, overlooking Sydney Harbour.
The expanded programme will include an on-water harbour excursion and additional networking time.
The 2026 event attracted 100 delegates from 14 countries, including New Zealand, Singapore, the UK and Germany.
Superyacht Australia said feedback from delegates, speakers and sponsors informed the decision to extend the conference.
Deeper discussion
“We listened closely to the feedback from 2026, and the message was clear: people wanted more time together,” said David Good, chief executive of Superyacht Australia.
“Expanding to two days gives us room for deeper discussion, more networking and the chance to showcase Sydney Harbour itself, including an on-water experience.”
Day one will begin with conference sessions before delegates join the harbour excursion.
Day two will feature a full programme of sessions, followed by post-conference drinks. Discussions will cover trends, opportunities and challenges affecting the superyacht sector in Australia and internationally.
Taking the industry forward
The event will bring together builders, refit and repair yards, marinas, ports, destination managers, captains, crew and yacht managers.
Charter managers, brokers, suppliers, service providers, flag registries and legal, tax and compliance advisers are also expected, alongside government, tourism and industry bodies.
Reflecting on the inaugural event, Mike Sager, co-founder and co-chief executive of Ankor Software, said: “No politics, relevant topics, taking the industry forward, extremely refreshing.”
Speakers and sponsors for the 2027 conference will be announced in the coming weeks.
