SŌLACE enters catamaran sector with 41CT

SŌLACE Boats has introduced the 41CT, its first centre-console catamaran, ahead of its public display at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Designed and built at the company’s 200,000sq ft facility in Edgewater, Florida, the model measures 41ft 3in overall with a 12ft beam. Its patented twin-hull, bisymmetrical platform is intended to increase stability, efficiency, usable deck area and passenger comfort.

The layout is configured for offshore fishing, cruising and entertaining. Equipment includes twin 60-gallon livewells, two 187-gallon fish boxes and 950 gallons of fuel capacity. SŌLACE has not disclosed engine options, speed, range, pricing or a production timetable.

Dual-row helm seating increases passenger capacity while underway. An opening aft cockpit bulkhead, first used on the SŌLACE 35CS, can separate the helm and passenger area from cockpit and engine noise. A mezzanine seat below the bulkhead adds aft-facing seating, cupholders and storage.

Development team

“The 41CT represents an exciting new chapter for SŌLACE,” said Stephen Dougherty of SŌLACE Boats.

“We didn’t want to build a catamaran simply because the market was moving in that direction.”

He said the development team examined how a catamaran platform could be made ‘more functional, more comfortable and more enjoyable’ for owners.

The boat was developed by SŌLACE’s in-house engineering team, with major components designed, tooled and manufactured at the Edgewater site.

“Every element had to earn its place on the boat and contribute to the experience, whether you’re running offshore, fishing all day or spending the afternoon entertaining with family and friends,” Dougherty added.

The 41CT is scheduled to appear at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from 28 October to 1 November 2026.
