BRABUS Marine introduces new Shadow 38 range

BRABUS Marine has introduced its new Shadow 38 range, a generation of 38-foot high-performance luxury powerboats developed in collaboration with Axopar and offered in two power configurations.

The line-up comprises the 850hp BRABUS Shadow 850 XC Cross Cabin and the 1,000hp BRABUS Shadow 1000 XC Cross Cabin.

Both models share the same platform, design language and versatile layout concept, while being positioned for different styles of use.

The Shadow 1000 XC Cross Cabin is the flagship of the new Shadow 38 range, powered by twin Mercury Racing 500R V8 outboards to deliver 735kW or 1,000hp.

With a top speed of up to 60 knots, it is positioned as the more performance-focused version of the platform, emphasising acceleration, handling and a stronger link to BRABUS’ supercar-inspired design approach.

Shadow 850 XC

The Shadow 850 XC Cross Cabin is powered by twin Mercury Verado 425 V10 outboard engines, producing a combined 625kW or 850hp.

The model has a top speed of up to 55 knots and is intended to combine high-speed cruising, long-distance capability and everyday usability.

Across the range, the Shadow 38 combines a cross-cabin layout with configurable deck arrangements intended to support fast cruising, watersports, outdoor entertainment, relaxation and short overnight stays.

Optional activity platforms extend the usable space at the water’s edge, while aft-deck options, wet-bar solutions and storage areas allow owners to adapt the boat to different uses.

Design features

Design features include a distinctive exterior profile, exposed carbon-fibre elements and BRABUS-specific detailing.

The helm area includes a BRABUS steering wheel, navigation technology and twin Simrad multifunction displays.

Inside, the latest upholstery options are intended to create a lighter, warmer interior influenced by larger luxury yachts.

BRABUS Marine says the new generation has been engineered to combine performance, comfort and functionality within one platform, extending the brand’s automotive-led design and performance identity further into the luxury day boat sector.

The Shadow 1000 XC Cross Cabin has received its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.
