SACS Marine, Italian maxi-RIB builder and PIRELLI Speedboats licensee, has announced a new collaboration that will bring Ducati branding to the PIRELLI Speedboats range for the first time.
The project extends SACS Marine’s long-standing licensing partnership with Pirelli, which has run for more than 20 years and helped establish the PIRELLI Speedboats line in the maxi-RIB and walkaround segments.
The new model will feature a Ducati livery inspired by one of the motorcycle manufacturer’s most recognisable models from its Borgo Panigale history. The companies say the boat will combine performance, safety, racing-influenced design and Italian manufacturing identity, with new features developed specifically for the collaboration.
The partnership brings together three Italian brands from different sectors. SACS Marine contributes boatbuilding and maxi-RIB expertise, Pirelli brings its motorsport and design heritage to the speedboat range, and Ducati adds a visual and performance-led identity associated with motorcycles and racing.
Uncompromising focus
Claudio Domenicali, chief executive of Ducati Motor Holding, said performance is a common language for the three companies, with the project based on ‘the ongoing pursuit of excellence, the desire to push beyond limits, and an uncompromising focus on each and every detail’.
Marco Maria Tronchetti Provera, senior vice president Pirelli Design and Assets Conversion, said Ducati’s involvement marks ‘a new stage’ in Pirelli’s boating partnership with SACS Marine and strengthens ‘an all-Italian initiative’ where different skills combine to create a distinctive product.
And Nicola Antonelli, chief growth officer at SACS Marine, said the project began with owners who were already attracted to the sporty character of PIRELLI Speedboats.
Bringing Ducati into the project allowed the partners to ‘take several aspects of the project to an even higher level’, with the boat aimed at enthusiasts of detail, performance, speed and design, he said.
The partnership and resulting boat were unveiled in a world première during an exclusive event at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival.
