Ian Wilson has joined Key Yachting as the company’s new service lead.
Ian has worked with Key Yachting for several years and brings his technical knowledge-particularly of J/Boats-combined with a hands-on, solution-focused approach to his new role.
“I am delighted to have Ian join the team at Key Yachting,” said Bill Stringer, Key Yachting managing director.
“Ian has worked closely with Key Yachting for many years and knows the business inside out – he’s felt like part of the team long before this role became official.
Marine industry
“There isn’t much Ian doesn’t know about boats, particularly J/Boats, and his focus on getting things done on time, to a high standard, and competitively is exactly what Key Yachting is about.”
Ian has spent his life in and around the marine industry, having been born into a family of boat builders.
His experience spans cruising, yacht racing, and delivery passages. Over the years, he has been part of many successful campaigns, including becoming J/70 corinthian world champion in 2019 on his own J/70.
