Bulgarian catamaran manufacturer Omaya Yachts has selected Peter Hansen Yacht Brokers Raby Bay to represent the brand in Australia.
The partners say the agreement addresses a gap in the Australian power catamaran market, with buyers vessels that combine luxury and performance.
“We’re really excited to bring Omaya Yachts to Australia, the market is ready for a luxurious, quality offering, such as its debut model the OMAYA 50,” said Donald Home, managing director at Peter Hansen.
“The blend of modern design, luxury finishes, and innovative layouts which create a real sense of space is something we haven’t seen here before.”
Australian yacht market
He added: “While this is our first international brand partnership, we have the necessary experience in the Australian yacht market to build the Omaya brand and surpass our customers’ expectations of luxury yachting.”

Private and charter markets
Peter Hansen will offer services including sales, technical support, and maintenance through the company’s network of partners.
The yacht broker will also provide customer experiences, including guided trips to favourite destinations.
The OMAYA 50 is a 50ft luxury catamaran designed for the private and charter markets.
The catamaran features a beam of 8.4 metres and 150 square metres of living space.
