ADVERTISING FEATURE With just one month to go, excitement is building for the return of the Women in Nautica (WIN) conference at Metstrade, taking place on 19th of November 2025 at RAI Amsterdam.
This half-day event is set to bring together the boating industry’s most forward-thinking leaders for a morning of learning, connection, and inspiration.
In a world where schedules are more hectic than ever, WIN2025 stands out by putting education and growth at the heart of its mission.
As we look ahead to this year’s conference, we’re reminded that these are the only things that persist and drive both personal and professional progress.
Connections and opportunities
The commitment to inclusion is equally strong — WIN2025 is about building bridges across the entire spectrum of the industry, welcoming diverse voices, expertise, and perspectives to foster meaningful change and collaboration.
The sense of community at WIN is something truly special. As last year’s attendees shared, community is not something that can be forced — it’s something that is genuinely felt. The connections and opportunities that emerged at previous events have helped shape a unique space.
This year’s agenda is designed to reflect those values and spark new conversations. The program opens with ‘Cradle to Grate: Electrification as a Diversification Strategy’, presented by Kristina Blašković, director at TEMA.
Sustainable maritime future
Attendees will then dive into ‘The Money on Our Minds: How Angel Investments Are Shaping the Landscape of Today’s Boating Industry’, a timely exploration of financial trends by Jelte Liebrand, founder and CEO at savvy navvy.
The conference will also feature a dynamic panel discussion, ‘Empowerment at the Forefront of Global Business Development’, with insights from Dr Gonca Aslan (Asmira Group), Laurie Louvier (Dometic), Michele Durkin (Yanmar Marine International B.V.), and Monica Fonseca.
Rounding out the program, Dr sc Tamara Aleksandrov Fabijanić and MSc Anouk Riffard from CTT will present ‘Connectivity Amongst Stakeholders Leading Blue, Sustainable Development’, highlighting the importance of collaboration for a more sustainable maritime future.
Inclusion and innovation
WIN2025 will be held from 9:30am to 1:30pm, with the first session starting at 10am, offering not only high-impact presentations and a panel, but also ample opportunities for open networking during the coffee break and business lunch. All attendees will receive the Women in Nautica WINMAG magazine, packed with actionable insights and educational content to take home.
This event is a must-attend for senior leadership, management, and C-suite professionals in maritime, as well as women and allies from across the whole boating community, yacht manufacturing, marine services, and beyond. If you’re passionate about advancing inclusion and innovation in the boating industry, this is your invitation to join a movement that is shaping the future.
