Yachting Ventures (YV) is to return to the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) for the 2024 edition with its Innovation Zone.
YV will show 12 start-ups with a focus on cleantech and blue economy sectors.
The show received over 34,000 visitors in 2023, and this year’s show is expected to attract even more visitors continuing to build on its reputation as a launchpad for cutting-edge technology.
“We are delighted to renew our partnership with Abu Dhabi International Boat Show this year,” said Gabbi Richardson, YV founder. “As the yachting industry continues to evolve and develop in the Middle East, it is imperative that we prioritise sustainability and nurture the development of innovative solutions.
“The Innovation Zone connects start-ups and entrepreneurs with customers, investors and industry experts – enabling them to showcase their ideas, drive positive change within the sector and initiate business relationships in the region.”
Building on the success of last year’s event, and the popularity of the Innovation Zone, this year’s exhibit will once again harbour discussions surrounding the future of the marine industry, promoting collaboration, education and networking, with this edition of ADIBS designating a central space for the Innovation Zone within the show.
The Innovation Zone will also extend beyond the boat show, offering start-ups insights into the start-up ecosystem in the UAE.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and scheduled from 21 – 24 November 2024 at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
ADIBS, organised by Capital Events – part of ADNEC Group – is now in its sixth year.
