Water Revolution Foundation has revamped its Database of Sustainable Solutions.
The Foundation says the new Hub of Verified Solutions will better resonate with its mission and communication objectives.
The move comes as the number of third-party verified solutions continues to grow, with the new Hub providing insights into the third-party Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) products have undergone to achieve verification.
Verification is carried out by several LCA-specialised research institutes including Tetis Institute SRL (University of Genoa spin-off), Alea Srl (Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia spin-off), and LCA Working Group (Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia spin-off).
The solutions featured in the Hub contribute to increased efficiency, reduced environmental impact, cleaner processes, and less waste.
The Water Revolution Foundation was established in 2018, initiated by a group of superyacht industry leaders.
Its goal is to provide a platform to help the superyacht industry become more sustainable and raise environmental awareness providing yachting stakeholders with a central platform to discover cutting-edge, yacht-specific products and make informed decisions aligned with their vessel’s operational needs.
