UK refrigeration company acquires heating and cooking specialist

Penguin Refrigeration, supplier of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, has acquired Kuranda UK, supplier of diesel heating and cooking systems for the marine and motorhome sectors.

The acquisition of Kuranda UK Ltd will expand Penguin’s product portfolio, with the inclusion of Wallas, Kabola and Dickinson heating and cooking systems for the motorhome and marine industries.

“The sale marks a significant milestone for both businesses and represents a new and exciting chapter for Kuranda UK Ltd, a business I founded more than 30 years ago,” said Brett McLellan, Kuranda founder.

“With Penguin’s well-established presence in the market and commitment to innovation, the acquisition provides the perfect platform to take Kuranda UK Ltd to the next level.

“Penguin is ideally positioned to expand Kuranda UK Ltd’s reach and introduce premium products from Kabola, Wallas, and Dickinson to a broader audience in both the motorhome and marine industries.”
