Cranchi Yachts will present two new models and two project previews at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.
The shipyard is moving into outboard propulsion with its new A48 O/B and the A32 O/B.
The A48 O/B is a completely new model, born from the A46 concept but with greater protection, more dynamism and enhanced onboard liveability.
The exterior features an enclosing, reverse-raked windscreen, a new T-top and colour-matched superstructure detailing.
The walkaround spirit remains, while the two fold-down bulwarks extend the usable deck space.
Beneath the T-top is a sofa and sunpad with a storage well for water toys and there is also a bar-galley unit, complete with sink, fridge, ice-maker and hob.
The helm station has three single seats and a forward-projecting windscreen.
Evolution
Aft, the side pods incorporate a boarding step, with a hydraulic up/down ladder to port and a pull-out manual ladder to starboard. The fold-down bulwarks create a wide, uninterrupted beach area.
Below deck are a separate owner’s cabin and a second cabin with two longitudinal single berths.
The layout is completed by a bathroom with a separate shower, a vanity unit and lightweight marble on the sole and in the shower.
“With the A48 O/B, we’ve evolved the luxury tender concept towards something more complete,” explained designer Christian Grande.
“The idea was to preserve the freedom of the walkaround layout, while introducing greater protection and a new quality of space.
“The result is a versatile boat, able to adapt to different uses, with a strong and distinctive identity.”
New outboard version
Alongside the A48 O/B, the A32 which was presented at last year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, is returning in a new outboard version.
The layout stays true to the original concept, however the the stern has been adapted to outboard engines.
The swim platform has been redesigned, with side pods housing the outboard engines, while a black steel rollbar, fitted with a carbon-fibre spoiler that integrates the stern light and the water-ski tow hook, protects them.
The helm console has been redesigned for the new engines, with engine data and boat management shown on a 15in ultrawide Garmin display and a second 15in Garmin display used as a chartplotter.
The A32 O/B also adds towing solutions for activities such as water-skiing.
“With the outboard version of the A32, we wanted to bring out the boat’s more instinctive side. It’s the same design architecture, but with a different attitude: freer, more immediate, more geared towards fun,” added Christian.
“Contact with the water becomes even more direct and natural, without losing its formal balance or quality of space.”
A64 maxi tender
The new A64 is part of Cranchi Yachts’ new category Aria, dedicated to open, dynamic boats designed for outdoor living and shared time at sea.
The project evolves the hull of the Sessantadue 62, reworked to create a crossover-spirited maxi tender that blends an open-boat character with new approaches to onboard living.
On deck, the line between inside and outside dissolves: the deck becomes an extension of the outdoor spaces, with side openings onto the sea amidships and a living area that opens or closes as needed.
Aft, a central sunpad sits alongside the side terraces, while a retractable chaise longue opens the beach area onto the water.
Forward, there is a sunpad and a lounge with two facing sofas, while below deck, there are three cabins and three bathrooms and a guest galley.
New A47 project
The A47 is the newest project in the Aria range, developed out of the A46 concept.
It shares its architecture and interiors with the A48 O/B, while the stern and cockpit take inspiration from the A46.
Features include contemporary lines, an enclosing, reverse-raked windscreen and a new full-width T-top fitted with adjustable louvres, lighting and a hi-fi system.
The walkaround side decks link three areas on board: the central console with galley area, the foredeck sunpad on a Portuguese bridge and the stern.
Aft, the sunpad and fold-down bulwarks extend the cockpit beyond five metres, below, a garage can house a tender of up to two metres.
Below deck, there is a separate owner’s cabin and a second cabin with two berths and a bathroom.
The yacht is powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS D6 units, each of 480hp, with Cranchi Atelier customisation.
