Garmin has been named Manufacturer of the Year again by members of the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA).
The award was in the large manufacturer category for the tenth consecutive year.
Garmin has also been awarded six Product of Excellence awards in the multi-function display (MFD), autopilot, multimedia entertainment, automatic identification system (AIS), satellite communication antenna and marine apps categories.
The awards are voted on by NMEA dealers who install marine electronics, qualified NMEA technicians and other marine electronics manufacturers.
“It’s a tremendous honour to be awarded Manufacturer of the Year by the NMEA for ten consecutive years – a milestone accomplishment that no other manufacturer has achieved,” said Dan Bartel, Garmin vice president of global consumer sales.
“These awards are a testament to the dedication of the entire Garmin team to provide our customers and dealers with top quality products and exceptional service and support.”
The NMEA Product of Excellence honours for Garmin include: The GPSMAP 9227 in the MFD category, Reactor 40 Hydraulic Autopilot with SmartPump v2, Fusion Apollo RA770 Marine Stereo in the multimedia entertainment category, Cortex M1 Hub in the AIS category, inReach Mini 2 in the satellite communications antenna, ActiveCaptain in the marine apps category.
