Southampton International Boat Show 2024 (SIBS) is set for a new layout including a new entrance and a revamped marina layout.
In a move intended to enhance visitor convenience and the overall show experience, the entrance to SIBS 2024 has been relocated to adjacent to the West Quay Showcase Cinema.
The last few years has seen the entrance along Southampton’s Town Walls outside West Quay’s food court.
Using feedback from previous attendees, the show’s marina will focus on a more zonal approach, showing vessels by type and category, making it easier for visitors to locate and compare the craft.
“Our aim was to curate an environment that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our visitors and exhibitors,” explained Mark Ring, head of events, British Marine, operators of the show. “The new layout ensures that small power boats, sailboats, luxury power boats, multihulls, and demo boats each have their dedicated spaces, improving navigation and interaction within the show.”
In anticipation of an increased demand for boat demonstrations, the 2024 show will allow for 20% more opportunities than previously.
“With more demo opportunities and all your favourites in one place, the reasons to visit have never been more compelling,” Mark added.
The show will take place from 13-22 September 2024.
