Doug Stacey has been appointed regional development manager for Marine Energy Systems (MES).
Doug joins MES following a 30-year career working in engineering, sales, and technical support.
He most recently worked with Sunseeker, and prior to that Osmotech and Fischer Panda. His roles have included sales manager and engineering technician, supporting manufacturers of equipment such as stabilisers, thrusters, and generators.
“We are delighted to welcome Doug to the MES team,” said John Ainsworth, MES MD.
“Doug brings with him a wealth of managerial, sales, and engineering experience, which will help us to continue to maintain the excellent business momentum we’ve built up whilst also increasing the presence of our equipment partners within the UK.”
Doug will work from the MES office in Poole and will be on hand to support the OEM boat builders and the trade network.
