Bray Marine Sales has announced plans to open a Yamaha service centre in 2024.
The move follows several years as an OEM Yamaha dealership.
The new service centre will be based at Bray Marina and will be run in conjunction with Bray Craning, expanding the support network available to Yamaha outboard owners along the River Thames.
It will consist of a sales display area and a workshop to carry out servicing and maintenance of Yamaha outboards.
“We’ve been working closely with Yamaha for many years, and looking for ways for us to provide additional after-sales support to our boat owners,” says Dominic Smulders, of Bray Marine Sales.
“We felt we could help Yamaha develop a stronger presence on the River Thames, and Yamaha was excited to come onboard with us, it seemed like too good an opportunity to miss.”
He added: “Aside from concentrating on service work to maintain Yamaha service schedules for outboard owners, we will be offering supplied and fitted repowers to older outboard powered boats to ensure trouble-free boating with lower emissions and increased fuel efficiency.”
