Marine valeting products company August Race has announced a new exclusive distribution agreement with MarinePlus and its parent company Kiwi Yachting Consultants for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
The new agreement is part of the company’s focus on international expansion, with further distribution partners expected to be announced in the coming months.
Marine Plus represents a range of marine brands including Gill Marine, Baltic and International Paints. The corporation has more than 1,000 commercial accounts across Australasia one of which (BCF) has 150 stores with two new retail sites opening in September 2023.
“Each year we are looking for a new company whom we can represent in both New Zealand and Australia, which we believe shares similar values to us, but, as importantly, have a product that could do well in both markets,” said Richard Macalister MD of KYC. “We are confident this year we have found this in UK brand August Race. Their innovation and energy for delivering highly engineered products alongside their rapidly expanding global brand loyalty is second to none.”
The Marine Plus development is part of a series of recent strategic distribution partnerships with Aura Marine in Poland and also G-Force taking on the brand to distribute via its network throughout the Bahamas.
The increased number of distributors and demand for products has led to August Race moving into larger premises in Dartmouth.
