MOLABO, manufacturer of high-performance 48V drives, will launch its ARIES R50 electric outboard system at METSTRADE 2023.
Developed and produced in Germany, the ARIES R50 incorporates patented ISCAD technology, with a rod-based stator which enables the outboard to reach 50kW at a touch-safe 48 volts.
The touch-safe system simplifies installation and maintenance, eliminating the need for high-voltage safety measures. The ARIES R50 is a plug and play system solution with a pre-wired MOLAConnect box.

Other features include direct power transmission, preconfigured and preconditioned battery banks with battery capacities of 36kW, 48kW or 60kW.
The drive system weighs 120kg / 126kg and has a hydraulic trim / tilt system.
The system has been designed with Hamburg-based marine design studio iYacht and will be available in black and white and in two shaft lengths, L and XL.
It has been nominated for a DAME Award in the Propulsion and Dynamics category.
