Turkish conglomerate Yildiz Holding AS is to exit the marina business as it seeks to focus on its core food and retail businesses.
The business, which owns Godiva chocolates and McVitie’s biscuits, also intends to sell its tourism investments.
In a statement, the company says it will prioritise food and retail as part of its ongoing strategy to grow organically and strengthen its global partnerships.
The company’s three Turkish marinas are operated by its subsidiary Marinturk.
The marinas comprise Istanbul City Port near Tuzla, Gocek Village Port and Gocek Exclusive.
Istanbul City Port marina has floating pontoons and a 752 mooring capacity and is able to lift and launch yachts up to 200 tons.

Yacht repair and maintenance facilities are available in an area of 16,000m².
Gocek Village Port provides lifting, launching and maintenance services in an area of 30,000m² with two travelifts (75 ton and 200 ton) for private yachts and charter yachts. The marina provides logistics support associated with charter yachts.
Gocek Exclusive was established to accommodate mega yachts. The marina provides a range of services for yachts of 18 meters and above.
The facilities have a combined capacity of 972 yachts and 280 land parking spaces.
Yildiz Holding has 45 factories producing its food products in 12 countries and exports to more than 100 markets.
The company recently reorganised its food and retail business.
