Northrop & Johnson has appointed two new yacht brokers to its international team.
Brian Fisher will be based in the Newport office and Ugur Sahin joins the team in the Monaco office.
Brian has decades of sailing experience, starting his yachting career on the waters of Barnegat Bay, New Jersey.
He later spent more than a decade on the professional racing circuit throughout New England and the Caribbean, competing alongside some of the world’s top sailors and delivering race boats offshore from Newport to the BVI and Antigua.
He’s also logged bluewater miles on cruising routes, including a delivery from Tahiti to New Zealand.
After coming ashore, Brian moved into the technical side of the industry, joining a rigging company in Newport that was acquired by Southern Spars before moving to yacht sales in 2021.
He will split his time between Newport and Miami, representing clients across the U.S. East Coast and The Bahamas.

Ugur, who has nearly two decades of experience in the marine and automotive sectors, will be based in N&J’s Monaco office.
Ugur was born and raised in Istanbul, and grew up in a family of naval officers. He spent his youth windsurfing, and has long viewed boating not just as a career.
He began his career in yachting in 2007 as sales and marketing director for the Turkish distributor of Fairline and Regal Boats.
Under his leadership, the business expanded its portfolio to include Prestige Yachts, Jeanneau Motorboats, Numarine, and Azimut.
After 15 years in senior management, Ugur transitioned into direct yacht sales, ultimately taking on dual roles as sales manager and project manager for Numarine.
Before entering the yachting industry, Ugur held positions at DaimlerChrysler Group and Volkswagen Group.
