Hall layout changes for boot Düsseldorf 2027

More than 1,500 manufacturers, retailers and destinations are expected at the 58th boot Düsseldorf from 23 to 31 January 2027, with organisers forecasting displays of over 1,000 boats and yachts from exhibitors representing almost 70 countries.

Construction work will alter the hall layout for the next two editions while Hall 9 is modernised. The space is scheduled to return for boot 2029, while a protected covered walkway will maintain access from the north entrance to Halls 10, 11 and 12.

RIBs, dinghies and tenders will move to the new Motorboat Hall 17, forming the start of a Motorboat Walk through Halls 1, 3 and 4. Superboats will occupy Hall 5, superyachts Hall 6, and brokers and designers Hall 7a.

“In economically challenging times, a business driver such as boot is a key factor in revitalising the market,” said director Petros Michelidakis.

He added that manufacturers had continued to secure orders and new customers at the Düsseldorf event despite weaker demand.

International success

Hall 12 will bring surfing and paddling together around a 65-metre pool, a bi-level skimboard course, Surf Academy, canoe channel and climbing park.

Diving will be consolidated in Hall 13, which is fully booked, while charter operators, marinas, houseboats and destinations will be located in Hall 14.

Sailing exhibitors will use Halls 15 and 16. Engines, equipment, accessories and refit businesses will remain in Halls 10 and 11, alongside the blue innovation dock, which brings together shipyards, investors and policymakers around marine technology and sustainability.

“Our booking situation for motorboats, superboats and superyachts is once again excellent,” Michelidakis said. “The excellent communication with manufacturers and dealers is the foundation that underpins the international success of boot Düsseldorf.”
