Nicholas Harris and Lucinda Coleman of Francis Clark, Exeter, have been appointed as joint liquidators for Aquamare Marine Ltd.
Aquamare Marine Ltd offers a range of services including yacht refits, upgrades and maintenance and in 2023, was the Seakeeper Dealer of the Year.
The company, which works with a number of brands including Flexiteek, Opacmare, Seakeeper, Planus, Tecnicomar, CEM Pumps and Siminetti, is based in Ivybridge, Devon, UK, with operations in France and in the USA.
In the statement of affairs dated March 27 2026, Aquamare Marine is shown as having assets of around £262,000 and an estimated deficiency as regards creditors of £2.34 million, which incorporates a shortfall of nearly £169,000 to preferential creditors and more than £382,000 owed to trade and expense creditors.

HM Revenue & Customs Debt Management is listed as being the largest creditor and owned nearly £397,000, with London based Funding Circle owed nearly £207,000.
Company director Jason Burdett is listed as a creditor to the amount of £300,000 and CEO and director Mike Sommerfield is also listed as a creditor and owed £100,000.
Marine trade creditor Swiss based W.W.T. SA, an official Opacmare dealer, is owed nearly £106,000.
Dozens of other marine company creditors are also listed, owed smaller amounts ranging from £36 to £25,000.

Company directors listed at Companies House are Jason Burdett, Alan Johnson, Mike Sommerfeld and Sophie Sommerfeld.
Alan Johnson and Jason Burdett are also listed as directors of AQM Ltd which was registered with Companies House in March 2026.
Jason Burdett and Mike Sommerfield are also directors of JWN SW Ltd, a company involved in real estate letting which is owed nearly £161,000.
According to the financial website Endole Open, Aquarmare Marine Ltd has 76 employees.
Marine Business has approached the liquidators for further comment but has been told no further information would be forthcoming.
