The International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI) has appointed Falk Morgenstern has been appointed certification manager for the IMCI Blue Star Marina certification programme.
Falk has more than 25 years’ experience in the marine industry.
As the former CEO of Baltic Sea Resort, Falk has in-depth knowledge of the specific needs of marinas as an important segment of the marine industry and is familiar with the specific requirements of international marinas.
In addition to his role as CEO, Falk founded the Marina Network Association in 2006, and is a member of the supervisory board of the German Marine Association (BVWW) in Cologne, Germany.
“I am delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to IMCI and further develop the standards for marina certifications,” said Falk. “IMCI allows me to continue contributing my many years of experience and commitment to quality in the maritime industry in a future-oriented manner.”
