Ferretti Yachts launches first INFYNITO 80

Ferretti Yachts has launched its first INFYNITO 80 yacht from its new Ravenna production site.

The shipyard, that was acquired in March 2023, will be fully operational from 2025. It is currently home to five production lines for the Ferretti Yachts and Wally brands, with a daily workforce that already totals 200.

The INFYNITO 80 unit, which will receive its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, has an overall length of 23.7 metres and a maximum beam of 6.32 meters.

The yacht is the result of collaboration between the product strategy committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, with exterior design by architect Filippo Salvetti and interiors by Ideaeitalia.

INFYNITO 80 also features the range’s F.S.E.A. technology (Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture), a package of sustainability-driven, environment-friendly solutions.

The package includes a fast displacement hull optimised to improve fuel efficiency and minimise environmental impact while maintaining high performance levels, a special focus on the use of green materials such as natural fabrics, regenerated leather, recyclable materials, ecological water-based paints and lamellar teak with FSC 5 certification.

Features

Other features include an integrated system that stores the solar energy collected by the photovoltaic panels installed on the hard top and on the roof of the All-Season Terrace in an Energy Bank.

The upper deck on INFYNITO 90 is replaced on this unit by an open sundeck, with a hard-top providing shade for the entire dining area and helm station. The stern area on the upper deck, reserved for sunbathing, is furnished with freestanding sun loungers.

The main deck layout features a main salon with twin face-to-face sofas and a TV that swings down from the ceiling. The galley occupies the forward section of the deck, with a recessed electric window.

The lower deck has four guest cabins, all with en-suite bathroom, sleeping a total of eight people. The crew area amidships can be entered privately from the walkway on the port side and contains two separate cabins sleeping three.

The first unit is fitted with optional twin MAN V12 – 1400mhp engines and can reach a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots.

The standard version with MAN V12 – 1200mhp engines has a top speed 20 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.

The yacht has a range of 1200 nautical miles at 10 knots.
