Lowrance, part of the Navico Group, has unveiled its new Ghost X 47-inch trolling motor, designed for freshwater.
The motor features an enhanced precision directional indicator, increased power, and Lowrance’s quietest motor yet.
“We are excited to launch the all-new Ghost X 47-inch trolling motor, adding another powerful tool to the Ultimate Fishing System,” explained Jeremiah Clark, VP and general manager, Fishing Systems at Navico Group.
“The Ghost X was designed with direct input from customers, allowing us to make meaningful improvements based on their needs.”
He added: “Paired with Lowrance’s top-tier sonar technology, this all-encompassing system allows anglers to eliminate distractions and concentrate solely on what matters most – catching fish.”
Accuracy
New features incorporated into the motor include an indicator for greater accuracy and visibility for both sonar and motor direction.
New raised chevrons have been added to the design and to ensure maximum visibility from all around the boat.
The Ghost X also delivers a 20% increase in thrust compared to the original Ghost trolling motor.
The motor also offers extra control through an integrated foot pedal or a compatible multifunction display with NMEA 2000 integration.
It also introduces a new, alternative method of motor control with an optional GPS remote which will be shipping in Q3 2025.
Positional changes
The remote design allows users to make positional changes from anywhere onboard.
A cruise control button holds the speed over ground.
Additionally, a new LED indicator light ring provides information on mode status, pairing status, and battery life.
The new trolling motor has sonar integration capabilities and offers enhanced views with its Active Imaging 3-in-1 nosecone.
Additionally, the Ghost X is compatible with Lowrance ActiveTarget 2 mounting brackets, providing access to live sonar using an additional transducer.
The Lowrance Ghost X trolling motor, designed for freshwater use, is available with a 47-inch shaft.
