Rightboat has appointed Evan Davis as key account director for North America, giving him responsibility for strategic dealer groups, major accounts and enterprise growth opportunities across the region’s marine market.
Davis will manage and develop relationships with some of the company’s largest and most operationally complex customers. His remit includes expanding existing partnerships, securing new strategic business and helping multi-location dealers use Rightboat’s marketplace and marketing products across their organisations.
The appointment adds senior commercial capacity as Rightboat invests in customer acquisition, strategic account management, customer success and campaign operations in North America. The company has not disclosed financial targets, staffing levels or revenue expectations linked to the role.
Davis has experience in marine retail and software implementation. Rightboat said this background gives him practical insight into the operational and technology requirements of larger dealer groups, including account coordination, lead management and marketing performance across multiple locations.
Complex marketing operations
“Strategic dealer groups are managing larger portfolios, more locations and increasingly complex marketing operations,” said Charlie Jefferson, vice president of sales, Americas at Rightboat.
“Evan gives these customers a senior point of contact who can align Rightboat’s marketplace and marketing tools with their growth plans.”
Rightboat has expanded its commercial product range over the past year. Its current offering includes Propel, SmartReach, LeadRelay, Rightboat Beacon, AnchorPoint and Ignite, while Rightboat Current is scheduled to follow.
Davis will work with key accounts to select combinations of marketplace, lead-generation and campaign tools, and to extend their use across dealer networks.
