Brownell Boat Stands & Equipment has officially opened its new manufacturing factory.
The manufacturer of boat storage equipment has been in business for more than 70 years and broke ground on the new facility in 2023.
The new 50,000sqft manufacturing facility, located in Dartmouth, Mass., is 10% larger than Brownell’s original factory, which has been the home of the company for more than four decades.
The new factory is located close to the original factory and is set to provide a new opportunities for the manufacturer.
The plant is designed for a more natural flow in the production process, allowing the company to expedite output, improve efficiencies, maintain high-quality standards and provide value to its customers.
Brownell says the new facility represents its continued commitment to American manufacturing.
“We’ve spent the last 70 years cementing ourselves as the premier boat stand and equipment manufacturer and we’re excited to continue that commitment to excellence for the next 70 as we move into the future,” said Alex Kavanaugh, president, Brownell Boat Stands.
“Throughout our entire history as a company, we’ve never had a recall and never had a failure, proving our loyalty to high-quality standards and our customers.
“Our new home will serve as a testament to that dedication to produce the best products offered in our industry.”
The company manufactures a range of stands and boat lift systems for a variety of sailboats and motorboats.
