Conch Boats was founded around 30 years’ ago when Massachusetts sailboat builder Edey and Duff brought together a group of professional fishing guides from Key West, Florida and a naval architect to design the ultimate offshore, outboard fishing boat.
Their objective was to design a boat that had great seakeeping abilities, while still maintaining stability.
Specifications included live well and fish box capacities, and a strong build to withstand consistent abuse.
The collaboration resulted in the creation of the original Conch 27 which was introduced in the late 1980s.
The boatbuilder now has six models from the Conch 18 to the Conch 41.
