The Clipper Round the World sailing race has renewed its partnership with Spinlock and Sta-Lok.
Spinlock is to continue as official lifejacket supplier for the 2025-26 edition and will equip the crews with its Deckvest VITO lifejackets, Performance Safety Lines, and personal AIS devices.
Sta-Lok is returning as the official standing rigging supplier.
“The demanding conditions and long hours of use ensure our lifejackets are built for the toughest environments,” said James Hall, sales and marketing manager at Spinlock.
“Small design changes not only enhance performance on deck but also improve servicing efficiency, ensuring teams can maintain their gear more effectively throughout the race.”
The company uses feedback from the Clipper Race crews to refine is products, with this year’s lifejackets feature updates for improved durability, ease of maintenance and comfort.

Sta-Lok, manufactures stainless-steel wire rope fittings and structural tie rods.
Greg North, head of fleet maintenance at the Clipper Race, emphasised the importance of the continued collaboration.
