Mission Critical Electronics (MCE), parent company to ASEA Power Systems, has acquired Magnus Marine, provider of high-power shore power conversion and hybrid power solutions for megayachts.
The acquisition is intended to strengthen MCE’s position in providing marine power solutions to the superyacht industry.
“This acquisition enables MCE to accelerate the expansion of our product capabilities, as well as our mission to deliver decarbonized marine solutions, meeting the rapidly growing global demand for sustainable marine technologies,” said Kevin Moschetti, CEO of Mission Critical Electronics.
The companies say that integrating Magnus Marine’s advanced hybrid power systems and energy storage technologies into ASEA’s existing portfolio will enhance system efficiency, reduce emissions, and optimize power management for marine applications.
“Magnus’s cutting-edge solutions complement ASEA’s industry-leading shore power systems, said Richard Gaudet, president of MCE marine power.
I am delighted by the opportunities this acquisition presents to drive our collective growth.
