MJM Yachts has appointed Matthew Saloom to the position of chief operating officer (COO), and appointed Brent Brewster as the boatbuilder’s new chief financial officer (CFO).
Matt previously served as MJM vice president of operations in 2020–2021.
He has previously worked for several well-known companies in the automotive and boating industries, including Volvo, Hatteras Yachts, and most recently, as president of Maverick Boat Group.
He is recognized for his expertise in budget optimization and process efficiency, and has a track record of driving operational success in complex manufacturing environments.
As COO, Matt will focus on enhancing efficiency across all areas of production.
Brent joins MJM after most recently serving as corporate controller for Correct Craft, where he held a variety of positions over the last eight years.
Prior to joining the marine industry, he began his career as a senior auditor for an accounting firm in Florida.
He holds an MBA. from the University of Central Florida, where he also received his BS in accounting.
He will support driving MJM’s strategic direction while also overseeing the day-to-day finance operations.
