Ken Marcovich is to step into the role of Sicomin CEO.
Ken succeeds his father, Philippe Marcovich, who has led Sicomin for 42 years. During this time he has grown the company into a global leader in epoxy resin systems and advanced composite materials.
Philippe will continue to oversee Sicomin as president of the company.
With the transition he will have more time to focus on his other ventures, in particular ACCWING, which has developed a high performance, flexible wing for sailboats, and the sandwich core technology MaxCore, in collaboration with Sam Marcovich, Ken’s younger brother.
Legacy
Ken joins Sicomin having helped to grow Map Yachting, developer and distributor of high-tech finishing systems for the marine market.

And he explained that his background in sustainable development, environmental sciences, and sustainable procurement, will be a good foundation for his new role.
