Kracor rebrands with new general manager

Kracor, a division of Yamaha Marine Systems Company, has been rebranded as Yamaha Marine Rotational Molders, with John Augustiniak appointed the new general manager.

In his role, John will oversee the manufacturing and operational business strategy as well as the sales, marketing and logistics of the company’s rotationally moulded plastic products for recreational marine and other industries.

“Augustiniak’s leadership will undoubtedly drive innovation and strengthen Yamaha’s commitment to quality,” said Ben Speciale, president, Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit.

“His significant expertise and leadership will enhance manufacturing capabilities, which are invaluable assets as Yamaha Marine Rotational Molders continues to grow within the industry.”

​John joined YMSC doing business as Yamaha Marine Rotational Molders in September 2024.

He has more than 30 years of operational leadership most recently holding the position of operations manager for Amazon’s Texas and Wisconsin facilities, where he led customer fulfilment and distribution.

He also has experience in the printing, packaging, industrial films and extrusions operations and has a track record for driving continuous business process improvements.

John will report to Bill Boehman, president, Yamaha Marine Systems Company, and Yamaha Jet Boat Manufacturing U.S.A.

Yamaha Marine Rotational Molders, formerly Kracor, Inc., has manufactured rotationally moulded plastic products for national and international markets for more than 50 years, with parts for the recreational marine, industrial, agricultural, waste, lawn and garden, medical and others.

In 2017, the company’s assets were acquired by Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. and became part of Yamaha Marine Systems Company, Inc., a subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A.
