French leisure vehicle distributor Hunyvers has completed its fourth acquisition in the marine sector since 2020.
The latest acquisition is of Pneumarine, based in Gradignan.
Hunyvers had previously announced its entry into exclusive negotiations with the company in April 2024.
Pneumarine, which generated €1 million in revenue during the financial year ending September 30, 2023, represents the Zodiac brand and carries out most of its activity in services.
Pneumarine will be integrated into the accounts from July 26, 2024.
In early July 2024, Hunyvers also announced that it had entered into exclusive negotiations with a view to acquiring the Les Chantiers Navals du Bassin d’Arcachon Group, which generated a turnover of €10.5 million in its last financial year and represents the brands of Jeanneau, Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, White Shark and Volvo Penta among others.
The completion of this transaction is expected by October 2024 at the latest.
The acquisitions will mean Hunvers’ nautical division will amount to 20% of its turnover for the current financial year.
Other marine brands acquired by Hunvers include Groupe Nautic, Marine Plaisance and LBC Nautic.
