Zipwake has appointed new distributors for Canada and Norway.
Western Marine Company and Transat Marine (a division of Western Marine) are a Canadian owned and operated distributor serving the marine industry in Canada from warehouses in Vancouver, British Columba, and Barrie, Ontario.
Western Marine has 40 years of experience in the marine industry serving commercial, boat yards, boat builders, and dealers, and will support the sale and service of Zipwake products in the Canadian market.
“As Canada is primarily a retrofit market having stock, fast supplies and excellent customer support is of highest importance,” said a Zipwake spokesperson. “This is why Western Marine Company (and Transat Marine) is the perfect partner for Zipwake.
“We wish Western Marine and Transat Marine warm welcome and look forward to a close cooperation.”
In Norway, Zipwake AB and distributor ProNav AS have mutually agreed to end their partnership.
The decision comes as ProNav AS shifts its focus and expands its product portfolio in the marine electronics segment.
Zipwake has now appointed Inmatech AS to cover the Norwegian market.
Inmatech has 20 years of experience in the Norwegian marine industry, and will assume all sales, service, and support responsibilities for new and existing products starting from the July 1 2024.
