Elite Yacht Covers has been appointed exclusive canvas partner to Nautor Swan Global Service, giving Swan owners access to new and replacement covers through the Finnish yacht builder’s service network.
The agreement covers bespoke sprayhoods, biminis, awnings and other marine canvas, alongside inspection, maintenance and replacement work. Elite’s existing Swan portfolio spans yachts from the Swan 48 to the Swan 128.
The British company uses digital measurement and CAD design alongside manufacture at its Essex loft. It also operates a South Coast office at Hamble Point Marina.
As part of the partnership, Elite plans to visit Nautor Swan Global Service yards in Badalona, Spain, and Scarlino, Italy, to inspect existing canvas installations.
The company will check stitching and signs of wear, with findings recorded in each yacht’s service file to support maintenance and replacement planning.
Maintenance planning
“Owners can come directly to us for bespoke new covers and awnings, designed around their yacht and how they use it,” said Paul Gray, sales director at Elite Yacht Covers.
“By checking covers proactively, we can also help owners spot wear early, plan any maintenance or replacement and avoid discovering a problem when they’re ready to use their boat.”
New commissions will be tailored to individual operating requirements, including shade, protection of furnishings and equipment, handling and onboard stowage.
