ExploMar has appointed Eongrid Pvt as its exclusive distributor in the Maldives, expanding access to its high-performance electric outboard propulsion systems in one of the world’s major island tourism markets.
The companies will work together to introduce electric outboard solutions for Maldivian marine operators, resorts and tourism businesses seeking cleaner and quieter propulsion. The partnership combines ExploMar’s electric propulsion technology with Eongrid’s local market knowledge, with the aim of developing solutions suited to the Maldives’ operating conditions.

ExploMar and Eongrid say the collaboration will support electric marine mobility in the Maldives through local showrooms, demonstration boats and sea-trial events, giving customers and operators opportunities to test electric boating and assess its use in tourism and marine operations.
