Enata has acquired a minority stake in UAE-based Manta Foils, expanding their existing relationship.
Both companies work across hydrofoil dynamics, propulsion and composite engineering and the investment formalises deeper collaboration across engineering, manufacturing and research and development.
Enata already supplies high-performance carbon composite components for Manta Foils’ products, supporting lightweight and durable hydrofoil platforms.
Under the partnership, Enata will continue providing composite solutions and will extend its technical support.
Manta Foils will gain access to Enata’s expanding R&D capabilities, including new development infrastructure in Abu Dhabi, to help accelerate product development and industrialisation.

The companies say they expect the closer relationship to improve product performance, shorten development cycles and create further applications for electric hydrofoil systems.
The investment will also support Manta Foils’ integrated technology platform, which combines batteries, propulsion systems and proprietary electronics within a scalable architecture.
The platform underpins products ranging from foil-assist systems to fully integrated eFoils.
Beyond their own product portfolios, Enata and Manta Foils plan to examine opportunities to supply electrification systems and carbon composite components to third-party manufacturers.
The companies say this could support wider adoption of more efficient marine technologies while opening additional commercial applications for their engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
